The challenge: extend the view; incorporate existing windows and glass block inherited from the curved exterior; while updating a decades-old kitchen.
New space-planning and an open design incorporates culinary efficiencies with high-tech appliances, AV sound and computer technology. Using translucent glass insets and a spiraling acrylic countertop material that mimics antique glass this transformation becomes an instant contemporary classic.
